I am Dr. Uriel Ramirez, a proud graduate of the Latin American School of Medicine (LASM) in Havana, Cuba, founder of The Pan-American Medical Association, with a deep commitment to a future in Anesthesiology and a passion for strengthening health infrastructure, medical systems, and logistics. My work is driven by a dedication to advancing equitable care and building sustainable models that leave a lasting impact on the field of medicine.

Raised in marginalized communities throughout Los Angeles County, California, USA, I developed an early passion for health equity and medicine that led me to earn my Medical Doctorate at the Latin American School of Medicine in Havana, Cuba. Witnessing stark health disparities during the 2007 earthquake in Lima, Peru, solidified my commitment to advancing equitable healthcare in underserved regions. Outside of medicine, I ground myself through free weight training, which sharpens my focus and discipline. Driven by a deep commitment to health, I aim to create lasting impact through innovative care models, cross-cultural collaboration, and openness to new perspectives.
